I can't believe they overlooked something this trivial in a $100k+ car?! I guess I'll research the spring removal first and see if that makes it livable before throwing a bunch of $$ at it.

Luckily I don't daily drive the car or it would definitely drive me crazy.

I think if you drove it daily, it would have the opposite effect. I've now had my 04 TTx50 for about 9 months as a daily driver (about 15k miles in those 9 months). I'm finally getting comfortable with the clutch feel. I learned on manual transmissions, have had several of them, and have owned three BMW motorcycles over the decades, and have never had issues with stalling, except in the very beginning (< 1 week) of ownership of those vehicles.

The Porsche takes a lot more getting used to. I finally feel confident that I can beat a Jeep Cherokee off of the line without toasting or dropping my clutch. Most of the time.

You're right. More driving might actually be better. I can typically get in any manual and be used to it in 5 min. This car is tougher, especially towards the end of a long drive when you're getting tired.

Hopefully the spring fix makes just enough of a difference.
