Hi folks, I'm not a photographer in any sense of the word. I went downtown and wanted to take a few pics of my car yesterday, but none of them came out really well. I posted them on Flickr and was hoping someone might be able to take a look and tell me what I should do different next time.
I'm using a Canon Rebel XSi with the standard lens that came on it. I think it will tell you all that on Flickr.

As far as the car goes, I'm putting on my Precision Porsche GT2 bumper next week and am playing with the idea of making the wheels black.

DDamn I like white.. Maybe gun metal on the wheels.

Car looks great. The wheels looked a little better on the black. Did you repaint or wrap the car? You should have all the lower lips/skirting done in white as well, it helps "ground" the car. White 996s are always sexy.

Is this the plastidipped car? How is it holding up?

 

Yup, it is plastidipped. It's actually holding up quite well. However I have ordered 3M Matte White wrap and am going to try to wrap the car. It's just a bit more professional looking.

But so far for less than $400 the plastidip is pretty awesome.

 

I'm liking the gold wheels with both the black and white.

 

I remember a white car with red or blue lettering from a few years back. I'm finding it tough to navigate their web site as they have such a plethora of die-cast in various scales, 1/32 and 1/24 slots, and parts.

 

Love the plastic dip, any quality issues your having with it ? Are you also going to wrap the car yourself or have someone do it ? By the way love the wheels.
