I had new 997 coils and one of them went bad and I ordered the BBI Coils. I replaced the 997 coil and everything seemed great... until I put in the BBI coils and saw how much smoother the response was at every RPM. Very Very noticeable. Guaranteed for as long as you own the car. Well worth it for the money - no more screwing around with coils.

thanks for the info. i'm not surprised, and wish i had them. but i'm going to wait until if/when one of my 997 coils goes, then i would definitely go for the upgraded bbi's. for now, though i'm hoping my next 800 bucks spent goes toward new led tails lol

Just to mention a thought here >> When we change our plugs, most of the time there is noticable feel in performance..So,when we change the coils we also change the plugs at the same time ?
Just curious if any one has changed a perfectly good OEM coil with a 'Better' coil with out changing plugs?? I am talking on an average/mild modified or stock car...
Usually a better coil is going to have more voltage and better recovery time, so you can open up a plug gap then get to bigger/stronger spark thus a better burn..Plus its harder to blow out the spark then also..
But the question is at what level will that help if in fact the coils actually do have more voltage and better recovery time?
Just my thoughts ..

I still have my original ones ,40,000 miles, and several plug changes.
And my car runs great up to 7400rpm with 1.4 bars.

sales@bisimoto is infamous around these parts

We have had great success with NGK Iridium plugs, part number starting with BKR. The very fine Iridium tip, will ensure a durable and a constant stable spark, with several heat ranges to selected from depending on application to be tuned. Feel free to PM for a options on your project.
