Doing my coil overs today and need the axle nut torque spec for a AWD TT. Looked around but didn't see it posted. Thanks. Gobble gobble.

I heard about 340 ft lbs on the front nut. Most all your weight on a 2' breaker bar.

Exactly what Nick says, 340 ft/lbs. I weight 170 lbs and use a 2 foot breaker bar. I stand on the end of it and voila, just applied 340 ft/lbs.

Take off the wheel center cap and loosen the center nut with the car still on the ground. If you already have it jacked up with wheels off then have someone stand on the brakes.

Plus 2 for 340 lbs. Page 251-252 in the repair manual gives all the torque specs for the axle and running gear.
