Need recommendations on jacks/torque wrenches

I use the DeWalt 12volt cordless:
http://www.dewalt.com/us/products/to...productID=5725
Theoretically it can torque higher than 95 ft-lbs,
but as long as you don't hold it while it bangs away
tightening, it doesn't get there. In fact any cordless
impact wrench is fine with tightening if you don't let
it bang. Just use it to spin the nut on. It's actually
hard to get a cordless wrench to get into bang mode
if you don't want it to.

Get the AC jack stands. Safety is worth the money.
I wish I had gotten the AC jack as my car is almost too low for my Sears racing jack (2 ton, still nice)
As far as a torque wrench go, safety once again. Get a used Snap On off of ebay. Mine works real nice.
Get the Snapon imapact wrench. It's got more juice. The Dewalt I have cant break nuts loose after a session on the track.

We don't do jacks anymore, but check out our torque wrenches. The first two are professional grade, and the third one is more "shade tree". It's our best seller for 30 bucks and works great:

I would suggest only using Snap on brand tools. We have tried cheaper options around the shop and...........well you get what you pay for. Snap on has never failed me to this date. With tools such as jack stands.......etc that can have terrible results if failed use only th ebest quility.

Never had a problem and under half the cost of the snap on one (where I am) and basically same stats.

Dewalt impact wrench
I purchased the same Dewalt cordless impact wrench and it works great. It easily removes the lug nuts on my race car and I use it with a torque stick to put the nuts back on to avoid overtightening. I used it at my last PCA club race and only needed one battery over 4 track days.
