I just wanted to show off my Wrap-less car.

My car had a satin clear bra on when I got it, and I finished taking it off a couple weeks ago, but had yet to take photos...

Took me about 20 hour total to get it all off. This included peeling, dissolving the adhesive, and buffing/glazing/waxing the paint underneath.

End result looks pretty nice eh?

 

Ssssoo, why bother?? It looks AWESOME without anything on it .. Look at a nice Porsche Carrera Stripe instead... My personal 2 cents..

 

Why bother what? Putting it on? The previous owner had it on. I took the matte black off because IMO its very overdone.

 

Good. it looks way better without the wrap :-) Was under the impression you had cleaned it up to start another matte wrap :-)

To TabooPC... Sooo. I have been thinking about a nice stripe or perhaps some "motif". Nobody seems to have played with the idea of having a 2-Tone (color) painted car, except for track cars. So, you hear it from me first . I think, two-tone painted cars are coming back.. big time. And, what better than a tasteful wrap on the side, starting low around the front wheel wells and gradually going up to the air cool air intakes (on the Turbo) and just subtlety connecting both patterns / stripes in the middle of the engine cover is some way or another. I think that would look just great . I am looking for designs at the moment.

 

I do like factory two tone, or two tone on actual race cars... But I don't want to look too much like a poser. I have been thinking about refinishing my wheels, or searching for some BBS e88's in gold... I also thought about white text across the top of the windshield.. But for such a rare car, major appearance mods seem a little, eh. Its already something special
