PCM Problem... Please guys HELP !!

Hello folks
Was just wondering if anyone has advice for me.
After my car was standing in the garage for months the battery ran flat. After charging for a day and also after trying to jump start it from another car with no success I eventually borrowed a battery to get the car started. I made the mistake to remove the battery while the car was idling and re-installed the original one again. I took the car for a spin but the battery did not take charge. I eventually replaced the battery and after reconnecting what is in the pic is all I get from my PCM. I do not get it to ask me to enter the code to get everything going again. I disconnected and reconnected many times and I seem not to be able to get the PCM to ask me to enter the code. Is there anyone out there that has some advice for me or did I cook the PCM?
All help will be appreciated.
Kind regards

Did you disconnect the battery while it was playing a CD? Looks like it's confused and looking for a CD instead of asking for the code?! I would try that first

No there was no CD in the PCM. I don't think I ever had a CD in before. Pity the picture is so small. I don't know how people manage to get such nice big pictures on here. My picture is definitely the right size but it comes up like this. Anyway, the picture reads like this. It says on the display ... Top row " Bootsector 5.25 PO". Then just below that it says " Loading loader " and at the bottom below the blue rectangular it says " Please insert CD ". It appears it is looking for a boot CD.
I really need help on this one. I have been struggling for some months on it now. The Porsche dealer here in South Africa asks me 6 200 US $'s to replace and that is without the labour.
Hope someone can help. I am desperate.
Kind regards
Luke
