I do believe that you have the impression that it does something good to your car and that is fine. However, a statement that a signal amplifier does spool everything up massively is just a bit too much of exitement.

These pedal amplifiers have never proven that there is any backup for any claims they make. There is no HP gain nor any acceleration improvment. It is just brain tuning.

In case you want to prove otherwise, please feel free to post some 60-130 time with that device on/off. These should show massive differences if it is true what you are saying

No offense, just my opinion.

Hi,

since when does the number of performance cars qualify for the correctness of the statement I can make?

Compared to what some are driving here I do not even have a performance car. What I do have is quite a good technical education and in my book the one who is making a claim has to proove it.

But of course I appreciate your invitaion and I am willing to learn and hence I put my money where my mouth is:

You show me PB data that does proove what your are saying (massive, that is) and I pay your Sprintbooster and buy one myself. That should be easy earned money for you, no?

Until then I have a question for you: putting the pedal to the floor is a process that takes 1/10 of a second at maximium. The resistor curve of the E-Gas when using the sprintbooster is probably maxed out at 2/3 of it's way, so you might be saving 3/100 seconds when putting down the pedal. That's all you can gain in theory - in reality it will be much smaller and the effect on spool is just not there. So where exactly is your gain coming from?

Don't worry. If it means fun for you, all is fine. After all it is your money and your fun. I prefer staying on the technical side of things.

If I were you, I'd take Andreas' bet. You have nothing to loose but gain from it

If you can prove that the Sprintbooster thingymagic works then you got yourself a free one!

No CHEATING though!!! I want to see a video for proof.

I agree BUT I do understand what they are saying ..

On my Audi B5S4 I tried many different Stage 3 tunes, and I believe it was my AMS tune that had a more sensitive throttle, and I really liked it. My guess is that I would like the Sprint booster as well...

Tuners should be able to do this on request.

Just buy and install the sprint booster you will thank Richard and I once you do it.

Best 280 you will spend on your 996 turbo.

My mate who is a P service manager and ex rally champion was amazed by the improvement and now recommends them to all his clients at GC P

There is no doubt that it won't make the car faster or spool better but that is not the point.
It likely makes the car feel faster and that is huge. If you have ever played with an old style pedal and made it lighter or lubed the cable you know what I mean.

I ordered one and I am hoping it will help with heal-toe down shifting.

Richard,

since you wanted to know, this my car. It was a Gemballa GT 600 and now it is kinda performance car.

100-200 km/h in 6 seconds
60-130 mph in 7.08 seconds

Both with a car weight of 3590 lbs excluding driver and half tank of fuel. The car is heavy and my winter project is weight reduction - 200 lbs are already gone. RWD conversion is next. I also still have the restrictive Gemballa exhaust. It will be replaced in a couple of weeks.

All given times without sprintbooster

I think I am going to order one, not because it's the next huge ebay trend of b.s., but because a lot of you are regular drivers and liked the way it made your car feel.

All you guys argue about nonsense. no one said it added HP or really made the car overall faster, we all really know it just is an illusion, but when you watch David Copperfield do Illusions, are you impressed? Real or fake, it impresses you enough to know its worth such the small price difference.

In my opinion, the only other way to get the same results would be to train yourself to drive differently and have a really heavy foot, right? if you drove aggressive, the car feels fast, if you drive normal, it feels slow...

For those who drive fast, this is something that will get you that rush your looking for without having to mash the pedal. it's not a product for everyone, but for those of us who are DRIVERS, I'd say it's worth it. I am ordering one soon.

I don't how often you make it to Palm Beach area but I've had one for 2 years now and love the response especially on the track, your more than welcome to try my car if your ever in the area. I have a video with pro driving my car commenting "it's like a switch - on or off" and I never told him what it was, the car is well sorted and tuned as well

Thanks! As I really dont plan on modding my car too much (hopefully...) I am looking for the simple things to make driving the most fun it can be. I will never track the car, I dont think, but I enjoy sprinting the car on the highway and tearing through turns. I am sure this is a product I will enjoy in my 03 996TT

Richard,
so you call me a BS'er, right? Is that what happens when you run out of arguments? Goes well with your shouting.

I take it that you don't know the answer to my question and are not going to take my bet. Why did I know that before I wrote it
