Look great but i think this front bumper don`t fits on a 996 Turbo.
But when you see it in real - look better?

This thread is more proof that I'm getting older, since I don't really care for any of the aggressive models (meaning, I prefer stock looking bumpers better).

I have a Precision Porsche GT2 replica front bumper on my 996TT and love it to death though. There is no denying that the stock 996TT front bumper leaves a lot to be desired!

i'll say. sure looks good. it's threads like this that make me craz(ier). hmm, 997.1t or try to freshen up my already setup car. i wonder what kind of costs are involved with front and rear techart style w/led's. vs trading up new to me car.. just thinkin out loud. looks great, and i agree our stock front ends ( to say nothing of the rear tails ) look "dated" as hell, not classic but anyone says that to ME?! them's fightin' words lol

... i've been looking. i'm kind of on the fence regarding the look. one minute i love it, then one minute i'm afraid it would have a bastardized frankenstenian look once installed. but the black and silver car would be close to what i ended up with. it's cheaper ( looking!? ) than buying a 997t. man, i hate springtime car decisions. lol

If I was to do the GT2 style bumper then I would definitely upgrade to 997 Headlights, side mirrors and wheels to make it look like a 997.

If you really want the 997 look then also upgrade to the rear bumper and viola you have a 9967 TT

simply because in spite of my love of the car, i don't consider the car a *classic*. so honestly anything i can do to switch it up in the looks dept is ok by me ( as long as it suits my sense of right/wrong ) i'm actually going for the faux gt2rs look as i've said, so gt2 bits might in fact be the way to go ..

truth is.. i really just want another 911 with..... ROUND HEADLAMPS LOL

point is well taken, and i'm giving that serious consideration. if it looks oem when done .. or vorsteninerish/gt2rsish or even garden variety gt2 it might be enough to keep me in the car. well, i'd keep it or trade into newer, is all. but never again,.. without one lol

I like the first one better than stock, not as much as GT2 though. But you're looking at $5k for this cosmetic upgrade. I think I'd maybe put that toward power or handling a before the bling factor.

i think closer to the $10k all in labor all the bits etc. just like the guy upthread that has done it already. i think it could be a rabbit hole of parts/paint/fitment esp them newfangled led's i'm sure i'd like it "finished" because it does look clean, but 10K in cosmetics? that's where the 997.1t becomes a made decision! ..meantime i've been giving this some serious thought. as much as i like look of it finished, it does go against the grain relative to trying to make the car something it isn't ( newer ) plus ya need skirts or the fit isn't right ( looking ), ++..and i agree, not so the gt2 bits, even if aftermarket, they're still semi car correct. so i'm gonna do a gt2 front + strosek since my hydraulics work and that kind of looks 993tish ha. my cars gonna end up a mongrel yet.

i feel i have enough power, so i fixate on led's and wings and switches that ain't broke ( yet ) when all else works. i can see how modding; however lame, might become obsessive
