New '04 TT deal

Here is the best deal I can get on a new '04 tt spec'd, NOT off the floor. -$3k off list and will install a K-40 system (worth $1k), April build slot.

Mehrabani1 The dealership is trying to win my business.

For the record, here is what I plan on ordering:

seal grey with graphite grey interior

XMA leather roof and pillars
XMZ leather center console (ordering from Gert at $700 vx $1,260 P option) I will swap when I install the B&M short shifter, Evo link, carbon/leather shifter and carbon/leather e-brake.
CPT leather P crest storage lid
XPA leather 3-spoke wheel
X71 aluminum instrument dials
692 CD changer
XX2 footwell lighting
342 heated front seats

Already have carbon sills, shifter and e-brake, upper console trim, GT-3 seats (will install heaters), thinking DAS roll bar, etc.

Please give me any input/suggestions. Thanks

Here's a link to my previous TT. It was also Seal Grey/Graphite. I'd recommend getting the deviating black carpet and stitching. The CF wheel is also nice. My car didn't have it, but get the leather covered steering column. It's a cheap option (for Porsche).

That sounds like a decent deal considering how 04 Turbo Coupe production is going to be so limited, more cabs then coupes will be built for 04.

Id change the storage bin lid to say 'turbo' - I saw the crest one in person and di not like it!! the seams on the 'turbo' one go well with the stitching on the leather center console...
Id also get the fuse box cover in leather...

Mansour is right. My car has the "Turbo" logo and it looks pretty cool. Here's a pic:

Duane, I currently have a '03TT but all I can say is I am ordering a new one. Please be patient. I have an "interesting" story to tell.

Alamein, you cannot purchase the lid aftermarket according to Gert.

msindi and ESK, does anyone have a picture of the crest on the bin cover? I would really like to compare.

msindi, you are really into bling, the fuse box cover? It's under the dash for gods sake. I am much more go go than bling bling - even though I recognize the hypocrisy in only talking cosmetics right now.

Color Change,

Msindi is absolutely correct. It's not a bling thing. The fuse box cover (Option CUJ) is the plastic panel that's located on the driver' side wheel well. When you have grey carpets, the black cover sticks out like a sore thumb. I think the option is $100!

Sorry, I am a complete idiot. Thanks ESK and msindi. I thought you were talking about the panel underneath the dash on the passenger side. Now I see the fuse box cover - (I went to look and yes, i really am an idiot). Leather fuse box cover it is. Thanks.

Dan996tt - Thanks for the picture. I am going to go with the turbo. While the turbo might be a little large, the crest looks just to small to me.

msindi - I figured you were go go too.

Thanks again guy, this site is great!
