I've always been recommended to use Intercity. We are shipping one of our Porsche's in November using them from NY to FL. I'll post a write-up after the car arrives. Their prices seemed fair and they are insured to $1mil. Its enclosed and they cover your car with a two layer cover according to the person I spoke with. A friend of mine ended up making the arrangements and he is shipping a 100 point antique Mercedes using them of which I believe there are less than 40 of the model in this country. $$$$

Also I'd like to note that in the past I used Gold Coast Auto Transport once since the Porsche dealer included shipping our purchase north after the winter, especially since I only visit my family's home in FL and live in NY. They used Gold Coast Auto Transport, who supposedly is one of Porsche NA's Auto Transporters. The truck was even painted with a large Porsche logo. My car arrived fine, though it sat at a depot for nearly 3 days, which I didn't like. The other car of ours arrived with a knick on the door and required an insurance claim on the part of the shipper. I was less than pleased as the other car was exactly 2 weeks old and was a suprise present.

We've been using Exotic Car Transport for years. The only problem is that they seem to find things wrong with the car that I never knew existed!

Re: need indoor auto transporter

Exotic Car Transport hands down...Trust me, our dealership has used um all, and Exotic just always seems to come through. THey are not always the cheapest, but as they say "you get what you pay for" Horseless is always good, but they are always the most expensive and Exotic's quality is the same if not better...
Regards,
Evan

I have used Intercity and they were great. Recently used Blue Highways and when they unloaded my car they smashed my door. They've fixed it but don't seem to care too much what they did. I'd recommend against using Blue Highways.
