Just checking in on the forum.

I bought a 996TT with the x50 last week. I've done a little reading on the forum and actually started modding this week.

I started off with a tune for 93 Octane. I could feel a difference in power, response, etc. although nothing crazy.

Today I installed a set of Wastegates from AMS. Now I can feel it! Boost jumped from .8-.9 bar to 1.1-1.3 bar.

I have an Agency Power exhaust coming later this week.

I also have a 5bar FPR on the way.

Lastly, I ordered a set of 19" Ruger black wheels, along with some Falken tires.

That'll probably be it for a while, not sure of any "bang for the buck" mods left.

I own a diesel performance company, so modding comes natural. I usually dive right in and learn whatever I can.

Thanks for a great forum, here's a few pics of the new ride.

Congrats and welcome! Just to be cautious I would invest in a Durametric and datalog your ECU.

That much boost may be maxing out your fuel and that is not a good situation.

Enjoy the car!

Welcome aboard. I actually had one of your tunes on my old 06 F350.

With a x50 having a flash, your boost should have automatically jumped up to 1.1-1.2 bar. Shouldn't have needed w/g actuators to hit that boost.

Welcome. You may want to consider replacing the original hoses with some silicone ones.

+1 - 1.3 will definitely starve your motor for fuel, even with the 5bar. Congrats on the car and welcome!
