Exhaust / Cat question

Received my slightly used AWE Tuning exhaust tonight . System appears to be in great condition. It's the first gen with dual mufflers and 200 cell cats. Two minor observations:
  • One cat seems to move a tiny bit in the pipe; is that common?
  • Typically the AWE Tuning exhausts have a serial number but S/N plate is blank. It has all the AWE tuning logos and info except for the serial? Was that optional at purchase?

Thanks!!

Thanks! Will check with them. The cat can't really go anywhere since it is locked in the wider section of the pipe but thought it was odd nonetheless.

Read this thread and double check your CATS before something like this happens to you.

I think it is probably fine. The cats look in perfect condition. Their confined space in the pipe just allows for a little movement back and forth. Will double check though.

I'll have it re-welded to be safe. Guessing UPS dropped the box. The back and forth movement could eventually damage the cat. Freakin' shipping companies; can't trust any of them!
