Personal Best 1/4 Mile Trap speed today 151.82MPH
I had one goal in mind today and that was to break 150mph in the 1/4 Mile.
We had a private rental with only 20 other cars. Weather was perfect although we had a direct head wind. My previous best trap was 148.9 on the rev limiter with my GT35R turbos. After upgrading to the HTA3586 turbos and a couple other tricks, I hoped to better the 148MPH trap speed. To ensure that I was not out of gear, I added some 18" Toyo TQ Drag radials which are taller than my R888's. Well, it did the trick. 151.82MPH! One day, when I get around to upgrading my diff and trans, I'll do a proper launch. Until then, I will granny it out with a 2.2 60'
Here is a short video. The Black 997TT is a Tiptronic with upgraded 68mm VTGs and ran 10.8's to 11.00's all day long. I ran a 10.9s at 149.90mph on this run.

Congrats to Todd & Mark (Black 997).It was perfect weather (60-70*) at the track. Great time visiting with everyone.

trap speed is very impressive but that ET in combination with that MPH brings tears to my eyes

With slicks and proper axles can the transmission in these cars handle a hard launch/short 60 foot?
