Coolant Repair Cost (Welded)?

I need help finding an average cost to have my coolant lines repaired. I have been on water and wetter in case of an incident but I feel I am pushing my luck.

I have found numerous prices from $1600-$3600 for this job. I am trying to get am more accurate idea of cost. I think it will be closer to the $3600 from some of the photos I have seen of the job. If you are willing to share what your cost and what was included was it would be greatly appreciated.

Paid $950 for my shop to weld only the 3 accessible connections. The others required the engine to be dropped which would have significantly increased cost. Per my shop - these 3 are the one most commonly found to fail (but who knows if that is true). Will do the others if I ever have to drop the engine or if they ever fail.

I got a quote from a few shops in the sf bay area....BR Racing in Los Gatos is charging 2200 to do the job; with fittings included, and welding. I'm going to schedule a time when I can drop off the car.

I did it myself and I had to tear it into a million pieces. If you can get it done for under 2500 that seems like a great deal to me.

I was always curious about BR Racing. Do you have experience with them? If so, what kind of work was done? Thanks

I paid a little more than 1500 to have mine welded, but figured while they had the motor out, do the slave conversion, and why not replace all the vacuum hoses and any other source of a potential leak. so it ended up being closer to 3600 when it was all said and done.

F1 great price and heard from VID that they do some great work as well.

With engine out it may also be time to add plugs/coils/clutch/turbos/injectors- opportunity to spend a bit of money!

I would agree about $2,500 to do all welds with the engine out.

Mine are currently being done.

My motor and trans was already out and EVOMS charged me $1100 to remove the needed parts from the motor and do the welding AND I supplied the fittings. WAY overpriced considering I had multiple pin holes in the welds that were leaking coolant At 400 miles. As of now all the fittings have been repaired (on my dime) and are holding coolant famously.
