If it is 6-speeders that come, I think it will remain pretty private, there aren't that many of us guys in the area! I for one would love to go, I followed this thread and already planned on going to CJV's when his was on. That would really suck if it was private.

Who is Alex and what has he done to his car?

 

I have only met him a few times. He has a Diablo with a 300 shot of nitrous. He also has a 996 turbo that is within 30-40 hp of mine without nitrous. S Car Go Racing is currently making over the suspension, brakes and tires. His disadvantage will be his stereo system. I kid you not....60K cost and it probably weights 300+ pounds. It has been featured in some audio mags recently. I understand the system is being removed for the shootout. S Car Go wants to also borrow my #2 motor for this shootout for Alex's car. That would make for some interesting wagers as to what drivetrain part would fail first and when.

 

His Diablo runs mid 12s... and prior to his SCARGO racing escapades he almost hit the wallrunning a 13 in his 996 Turbo, so SCARGO has their work cut out It's definately no CJV car...

I don't believe Alex's Diablo had the nitrous with the figures you cited above. Hey, I wish I could be there with my car but I just found out about this peak/level injector solution. I need to find out more information before I would use it. With the Shootout only a week away and the Thanksgiving Holidays in between, there is no way the car could be ready in time. I don't like to rush things. My turn will just have to wait for another time.

Chad, I hope you can make the event. How about running your car in its detuned form? With its extensive suspension mods it still has the best chance of the overall win.

 

This is true. I hope we can do another shootout, after I put some strengthened rods in my block.

 

We'll have to call the next one "Return of the titanium rods". We'll all be needin' them at this rate
