Just Traded My TTS for a surprise!

hey guys i didn't trade for the Gallardo but i just came back from my Porsche dealer and just made a deal that i can be satisfied with... i just traded my 2005 Turbo S in for a 2005 Carrera S... i don't know what you guys think about this decision but this Carrera S amazed me!!! i drove it and fell in love with it! it drives so much better than my Turbo and it handles amazing! the car feels so much lighter and it is just over all amazingly to drive... the Turbo feels laggy and uneasy in corners even with my H&R coilovers... the Carrera S feels so much lighter and tighter in corner and much better power band... any body have any opinions? i am leaving to Hawaii tomorrow and will be picking up the S in 2 weeks... so excited! i can't wait!!!

You traded a turbo for a Carrera?

I dont understand? You just lost a ton of depreciation on your TT, and you are about to that again and then some. But hey, congrats!

How did you trade a $140,000 car for a $90,000?

Trading an '05 TT S for a '05 Boxster AND an '05 Carrera S sounds more do-able.

I can understand how you might appreciate the driving qualities of the Carrera more, but I'm confused as to how you justified the money flow.

Good choice man, congrats. I too was more impressed with the 997S than the 996TT.

You should trade your 997S with my 02 996 cab. I promise you'll be immensely satisfied with the agility of the cab and how flat it corners with the lower center of mass when top down!

well guys i know it might be hard to understand this trade but in reality i have had my fun with the TT and the TTS they are great cars bunch of fun and straight power... but in reality guys the Carrera S is a better car over all for me because i like the smoothness of the power delievery on it and how it is more refined driving comfort than the Turbo... believe me i know how to handle a car and i think the Carrera handles better i won't be surprised to see the Carrera S doing better times than the 996 Turbo on the Nurbergering... the Carrera S's PASM suspension setup it is just a marvel... in comfort mode it is better ride than a stock TT and in sport mode it is stiffer than my H&R coilover setup... in person i was really impressed with the car and just decided to have my fun with the car... and like i said before in my other post, there are less Carrera S around than TT in my area at least... i am sorry that i dissapointed alot of you guys but how about go to your local Porsche dealer and test one of the amazing Carrera S for yourself! forget about HP for the drive just enjoy the car... you will be amazed... and sorry guys don't call me crazy but i think Porsche got it back with the 997 it drives alot like a 993 but more refined and more powerful... great car Porsche!!! hope to see it more in the upcoming generation 997 GT3... boy i am going to order that!!! and just FYI is Black on Black with almost every option including PCCB haha for free... and sure i will post some pictures when i get it... and Collin996TT i don't get what you mean!?
