What is the name (if any) of these wheels on my TT?
Super stupid question but as the title says is there a "name" for these. They don't look like the "twisties" I've seen and I can't find a match on the internet...maybe I don't know how to search . Just for curiosity sake I'd like to know for myself so I don't sound to stupid. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i had an x50 996. the aero is a seperate option. you wont see many on here.
also, front lip and rear wing still sell for $2k-2.5.
as far as those wheels, they are absolute garbage.
not sure of the brand, but they look like $150/ a piece from autozone type of wheel.
just look at it. it's a 1 piece cast wheel. probably weighs a ton, probably has a horrible offset.
try the FS section on here and Rennlist.
you'll be able to find quality wheels for a coulpe g's if not less.
you drive a REALLY special 996. don't do it an injustice.

Oldspool...I have a set of OE 996tt hollow spoke turbo twists that I'm about to replace with some GT2 wheels. I'll let you have my twists for $500. Straight and true with some minor curb rash on the rears. I live in Ventura county. You can come and pick them up next week, if you like.
Let me know if you're interested.

They are Victor Equipment wheels and the model name is Turismo.
Do a search for Victor Equipment Turismo and you will get plenty of pictures and a link to the manufacturer.
The best I can tell from the link is the fronts are 19x8" with a +45mm offset and the rears are 19x11" +40mm.
It appears they are one piece cast aluminum wheels that sold for around $1,500 for the set.

hey man im really sorry. i didnt realize theyre on your actual car.
i thought you were thinking about getting them and wanted to know what they were called.
sorry for coming off so hard, but trust me , go with a quality wheel. "victor equip" is not something to put on a car like a 911.

lol on the "sorry man". yes, it's true. victor wheels aren't keepers on a 911 turbo. a c2? sure. it's not goin any faster anyway. but those are made of lead.
so many wheel choices, so little time. i will say, the dudes local stock twists @ 500 a set(?) is a hell of a good deal while you're thinkin what else to do. whatever "minor curb rash" means lol
but i'm sure the victors will be ok too.. until you..GET NEW WHEELS

Funny, but my 2002 came with the silver version of that same wheel, Victor Turismo, in 19". I have been paralyzed with inaction since buying it in April. First, the wheels look half decent (I've always leaned toward five-spokes, since the 2002 Carrera Lightweights that came on my car back in 2004). And secondly, I just can't decide what to go with.
I hate dark wheels of any description, so it must be silver. I really love a deep lip on the rear -- lots of barrel showing with the spokes inset, like the Fuchs on an old RSR. I'm not too crazy about the exposed bolt-heads on 3-piece wheels (like Techart Daytona), which tend to look too busy. I want 18". I hate chrome. I've always like the mesh look (like BBS RS-GT, etc.), but really hate cleaning them every wash.
So, what should I get, people?

My sentiments exactly, I'm stuck in the rut of what wheels to buy

Thank you all for the feedback on my "lead shoes".
I am going to keep these on her until I wear out the existing rubber, and hopefully I should be able to figure out (based on the enormous amount of data on this forum) of the wheels I should migrate to. As most people concur the choices are difficult and certainly vary based on preference/opinion...it will certainly be 19" and black or red when the time comes. In the meantime I'll keep searching here for deals that pop up locally. Th Dude...thanks for the offer (great deal) I am going to pass and save my duckets for an end desired set.
Thanks again!!!!!
