I guess you can have good ones and bad ones with anything mine hasn't had anything of mention go wrong (knock on wood lol) except rear view auto dim mirror fluid and had that rebuilt for a 100. All the seals rubber etc on mine look new at least the visible ones lol.

Damn, I spoke too soon, and should've knocked on wood. Copious amounts of white smoke billowing out of my exhaust on startup today. I'm hoping they simply over-filled the oil, and that no ancillary damage has occurred. Of course I was supposed to drive to Aspen tomorrow in the turbo.

per your other thread on this..

it's really easy if they are not too attentive to detail to spill some where it doesn't belong. hopefully that's all it is, and will burn off. has happened to me, also once a guy left the main drain plug loose after a change which left small puddles for a day until i tightened it myself.. needless to say, he's not changing my oil any more.

I've learned with this car that knocking on wood never helps. I hope it's something simple. As the car has just been serviced probably something they did if it ran fine before.
