Hi all as the title says I'm having problem getting into 3rd gear after an 1/2 mile event. It get in gear if I double clutch or if try to put it 2 times. Mechanic tell me that the car have may have a 3rd gear teeth broken or something with the syncro. Does any one have some tips that can help me with this? Ways to save some $$$? Company recommendations? Parts needed? Things to do when you open the transmission for upgrades?

Sounds about right with tooth broken. Man that will not be cheap! Opening up the tranny is very pricey.......
