ring gap
Factory ring specs given on most vehicles are usually give looser ,bigger end gap numbers, then what is optimal for a performance stand point..
Usually it is .004 to .005 per inch of bore..
Some school of thought is the 2nd scraper ring should be a little tighter, smaller, then top compression ring and other school of thought is looser,bigger..Both have valid points...
I make mine the same.. LOL..

Did anybody ever have an answer for the OP? The middle ring land has a dowel in it and I can't find the ring gap. I bought new rings to go on the stock pistons and I can't find any info anywhere. I don't have the old rings to measure to compare.
