Question K24 Wheel Options + turbo options?

Looking at the next stage of mods, K24 turbos fitted with a billet Alpha 28 wheel have been suggested instead of the more common 18g wheel. Flows 48lbs apparently but I can't find any information on them on here. Retails just under $4k with waste gates.

Car has OEM K16 turbos at the moment, one of which is not serviceable.

Supporting mods to be done at the same time:
  1. Injectors
  2. GT2RS Intercoolers
  3. 890 Sachs Clutch
  4. Lightweight Flywheel
  5. Electronic Boost Controller

Already have a de-cat exhaust and K&N filter.

Trying to keep costs sensible.

Anyone have any information on these turbos?

If you are looking for sensible pricing, you should go with the k16 billets. Otherwise, the alpha 28 would be the next step up, and suggested route. I haven't heard of a k24/billet28 in use.

There are some vendors putting alpha wheels in k24's and they are a little cheaper than that for the upgrade alone. If you don't already have K24's then maybe 4000$

if he has the trans out to do the clutch may as well do the intake upgrade and save the bleeding and cursing of trying to do it later with everything installed. just speaking from experience! mafless would be the way i would if i had to do it over. get rid of all the piping and be done with it
