Question Need info on this paint job

Does anyone know the story behind this paint job and does anyone have any more pics of this car. I know there is a GT3 with a similar paint job but it is not the same, I would love to have my car painted to match the car in this pic.

Gulf Blue and Orange, correct?

Take the picture to your body shop and have them paint it to match, it's real easy

Thanks Orli, I did a google search and came up with a picture of the original car and paint scheme, I would still like to see pics of the Twin Turbo.

I think that paint would look great on my car, I aready have the correct color wheels and the CF wing and mirrors would look awesome (at least to me).

I wonder how much it would cost to have properly done?

I wouldn't put the numbers or logos on, just the paint scheme, I plan on keeping this car forever and it is not my daily driver, so why not have some fun with it? I'll probably chicken out anyways, especially when I find out how much it would cost.

i'd estimate a good job on a full color change would cost 4-5K (depends on how in detail they go, if they remove all windows, etc)

My job was 3K and they hit all the jams but didn't remove the windows, and I got a good deal

Try this color first if you want a repaint.....If you feel like you need the blue, add it on later.
I do beleive your car is perfect the way it is though.

I agree with "your car is perfect the way it is though"

Might be kind of hard to sell it, once your tired of it

Spend more on making it faster Just my thoughts

Somone on Pelican parts built a ground up track car and painted it basically this paint scheme. It was maybe a 74 tub with RS flares and it looked sweet. Very cool set up for the track. Maybe a little much for the daily around town driver. I like the orange car above though. That is really cool. I think Ruf's Mexican Blue is awesome.

Gulf Blue is Smurf blue or poweder puff girls to some. Not sure that the TT is exotic enough or outlandish enough to wear such a paint job and get away with it. The ornage car with the blue done in reverse might be cool. Somone do it just for kicks so we can see it.

Good advice a little boring but makes the most sense (I already have the stage 4 kit, that is more than enough power for the NYC area). I'll just leave my car the way it is and save some money (that orange is really growing on thou).
