Talking Too many Porsches and nice cars in S. FL

Hey guys, just came back from the local starbucks...YUM coconut creame latte ...anyway, the parking lot there holds probably 20-30 cars and out of those cars here is what I saw:
-2 Turbo Coupes (mine and parked next to a black one)
-1 C4S Coupe (Blue)
-1 C4S Cab. (red parked on other side of me)
-1 Turbo Cab (P. Silver with Champion wheels)
And Besides the Porsches:
2 Bentleys (Arnage, and Azure Conv.)
3 MB AMG's (2 SL's, and 1 E)
1 355 Ferrari (pulling out as I pulled in)
I was like DAYMN all the cars are out today....on a daily basis I would say I see about 15-20 different porsches!!!
BTW-for all you North people it is currently 88F and not a cloud in the sky
Regards,
Evan

Evan, Dont tease us up north about that 88 and sunny weather, I hate the winter but we are holding on here, this weekend was about 60 and sunny, not too bad for the beginning of Nov, that is some lot of cars there, you need to come to the Hamptons one summer and see the collection up north, not bad.

Interesting comparison......up here in beer country (Madison,Wi)...been driving the Turbo daily for 2 1/2 yrs and have yet to meet another one on the road.
Last night, took the cab to a local Norski church for another Lutefisk & Lefsa dinner (slightly dif croud there than Starbucks? )....anyway, not a Pcar or Ferrari in the parking lot .

Yeah,

Same thing here in the West side of Michigan I never see another 996 turbo and the only 993 turbo that I see is my old one that I sold to someone local!

Must kind of suck to be in Florida and California where they are a dime a dozen.

Very true. Was in So FL a few weeks back for two days, saw nothing but beat up old caddy's and some econo-boxes.

The month before I had dinner at Mizner in Boca. Three Ferrari's, two Porsches (one 356, one 996 TT) and a freaking Maybach all sitting at the valet station.

Unbelievable what flies around in that part of the world.

I always enjoy Ft. Lauderdale, especially at the Toy Store, just drooling on the windows.

Not a dime a dozen in the Tampa Bay area. I have seen others, but more 996 N/A models. Passed a Red turbo today... and ran with a yellow 360 spider a few weeks ago early on a Sat. morning that came flying up on my tail.

I do agree that some parts of Florida have nice cars...but to be honest Boston is pretty wild also.. I think one in four cars is a BMW...pretty crazy..

Yes Mizner is one of those spots, I live 10 mins from there
City Place in West Palm is better for cars, one time there were 7 360 spyders parked at valet along with an orig. shelby cobra and my Dinan M5
Evan
PS-The more people from Boston I see posting on here, the more I think Boston really does have some damn nice cars...

There are definatley less exotics in boston.. they probley come out a few months out of the year.. but as in terms of mercedes, bmw's and porsches they are everywhere. I love the autotoy stiore in ft lauderdale, though they are a bit over priced.. I called on a turbo..and they still wanted 105 for an 01... I hung the phone up on the guy...

The New Auto Toy Store is the biggest joke in the world, and everyone down here knows it. I know the owner of it...he is an Italian mobster and is a complete *******. He kicked me out of his store one time because he said I was not serious about buying a car there, when all I was doing was looking... This was stupid and he realized this when I pulled away in my dads 360 Modena. That place has had over 5 owners and most of those are in jail right now.... There is one good guy there (wholesale manager) Jack Jr. My dad has done some business with him, and he is reasonable, but otherwise they are WAY overprice!!
Regards,
Evan
PS-There are not many honest exotic dealers down here, trust me...

Plenty of nice cars in Naples too. Was out about in town yesterday and saw 1 996 cab, 3 Boxsters, 2 996 TT cabs, 3 MB SL's, 2 M3's, and a Ferrari something, and of course a GT3. The nice weather is finaly bringing them out.
