My clutch went soft to the floor. I just put it on stands and took a look at it and there does not appear to be any fluid leaking out. Could the master or the slave cyl have gone out? I'm worried that I may not have gotten all of the pentosin out and it killed the slave.

Yah it was bled out and I drove on it for a few months. Looks like it is the master cyl, not pumping fluid through at all and the res stays at the same level. There are a few threads on here that the GT2 master is hit or miss.

brnrdtns - like Carbon said, check your slave and master cylinders.
I wrote about this last month. My GT2 conversion was only about a year old, but both the slave and master failed. Replaced both and all is good for now. BTW, there doesn't have to be any outward signs of leakage for them to be bad.

Checked the master and it is clearly not working as before. I'll assume that the slave is OK for now, only 1,000 miles on the new setup!

if the original fluid wasn't properly drained, the residuals will cause the slave or master (can't remember which it was happened couple years ago) to fail over time. That happened to me, drove fine for a while before it went out.

Gotta make sure ALL of that Pentosin is gone. It will kill the slave.

It was the master cyl. Hopefully my slave cyl holds up.
