This car seems to get faster every time I go out with him.

With the right weather and low humidity I pretty sure there is

another 3 to 5 tenths to take off of it.

Now if I can talk Randy into putting gt3 heads and cam carriers (or building the heads on it to those or better specs) and gt3 cams, GT2 intake

I'd like it to make those numbers at a much lower boost setting.

Now onto the hard part of the build tuning the part throttle drivabilty.

Randy if you make it down to Houston give me a shout can get some of the Houston guys together to meet. I'm out SE in the 'burbs about 5-10min from our shop, but office is out here closer to I10 / Beltway area. So I move a ton during the day.

And new number! Sweet!!!!!

And I agree esp on the GTR we all will end up TKO'ing our rearends/half-shafts trying to leave like that on the street

Powell, How do you like your Syvecs.
I'd like to know how well it intergrates into the factory systems.

These turbos simply don't spool before 60mph so my 60-130's were better with small turbos.
I was assuming you had a really tall gear with that top speed

The ems and e85 are the logical progression for your car Todd

It sure is easy to spend other peoples money lol.

You can sell a kidney, you only need one, but don't sell your ling!

You gotta have a ling or your gizzard won't work.

Steve, you need to think about these things before you go posting them.

I would love to hang with you guys! I never get tired of talking/ eating /

breathing cars! You fellows in Houston rule the high hp world for sure!

We have a friend up north who just bought a new fancy cnc machine and

he's working on the crazy idea of a lightweight diff that'll handle a

1000+ whp. Imagine an effective awd 996TT!

I was reading that Ruf uses the 996 awd system on their 997 turbos. Alois

says that the mechanical awd system is superior to the new awd so he

retrofits with the 996 version! Albeit, his most powerful car is 750 crank.

I don't think bigger horsepower is gonna beat the gtr's and gallardterds.

As with my builds, bigger is not better, better is better. We need super

lightweight, engine management to control wheel spin and some way to

launch HARD. If we could wave a magic wand, we need effective awd.

That's how they're beating us. Fire with fire.

My last wife was the equalivent to owning and operating a formula one car.

Come to think of it, her wardrobe was in the range of a GT2 rs. No kidding.

And then they have the nerve to complain about how much you spend on cars.

And the complaining is done from the seat of a their new Mercedes sl550.....

that you bought. Don't get me started

Todd Knighton is using the GT3 intake! Personally I like Chris Greens setup

on the GT2. The GT3 cam / heads is a little scary. There's not a lot of builds

with those particular mods but the ProEfi would make it easier than the

stock ecu to work with for sure.

I'm anxiously anticipating Topguns ProEfi setup and the update on Chris and

Corey's Syvecs build. My feeling is the Syvecs will produce identical results

but is much easier to tune and way more intuitive relative to the 996TT.

If the Syvecs exceeds the ProEfi in performance, it's worth twice the price!

I think they're both excellent products and I don't know what all the

infighting has been about. ProEfi has exceeded my expectations and I'm

sure that it'll be the same for the Syvec guys.

John, you will not be disappointed. The 3073s will out spool the 18gs and it

will annihilate them up top. My car is 3 seconds faster than my alpha 28 setup

from 60-180. That's about 500 feet

They're faster then any of the alpha series on record I think.
