Question steering wheel seletion???

Here's another poll.
Looking for a steering wheel see attached.

I have polled on this forum and used the advice, as an example:
- red vs. yellow brakes = red brakes installed
- trim rings, alum vs. yellow = alum. installed
- rear turbo bumper, fill in vents at tag area = left open
- C4 badge - installed custom Carrera 4 license tag FRAME

freeway with yellow stiching. the brushed aluminum look will really look great with those trim rings.

also, you def. need to glue or adhere a porsche crest to the airbag area...so it doesn't look like the wheel i had on my lowrider pick up back in 1991.

any more comments? The freeway will have the black leather where the silver is.

What if I told you that I could get the original steering wheel wrapped in perforated and smooth leater with Yellow stitching FOR MORE than HALF the price of the either the Freeway or the Daytona. Would that change your mind???

Rewreap the original. Sucks not to have a Porsche crest on the wheel. Those wheels looks like they're coming straight from a Camaro or something.

My 0.02$ Get a 997 wheel maybe?

I see that 22 votes are for the Freeway;

Does everyone understand that the Freeway WILL NOT have the SILVER. There will be black leather in that location.

I think the silver would be to much and would also be hot to the touch.

I just released the steering wheel guy:-)

I thought that I learned my lesson with ordering something without having actually seeing it (ie. rear bumper). However at this price, it was worth the risk. Also I just got my mercedes wheel back (yesterday) and it looks great. Therefore once I had an opportunity to see there work, I first called Evan and then decided to just do it and the wheel will have the following:

It will be a combination of the following:
- Design will be similar to the Freeway
- Perforated leather on the sides
- smooth leather "black" on the top and bottom
- stitching will be in yellow
- 1/4" rally stripe in yellow at the 12o position on the wheel

I will post pics pnce the benz wheel is installed as well as the porsche.

Evan, thanks for all your help. I was on the way home today and called to see if you had a wheel in for another customer, so I could actually see the wheel, but no luck. So I decided to JUST DO It and order the wheel, since my benz wheel turned out ok, I would give him the benefit of the doubt. Anyway the wheel should be done by mid next week and if I don't like it, I will not accept it and them review my options from there.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN PURCHASE A PORSCHE CREST OEM IN BRUSHED ALUM FOR THE AIR BAG
