Headlight issue

About 4 weeks ago I picked up an 02 turbo with 30k in great shape. So far I'm loving the car. I have been having one odd issue though.

Shortly after purchasing the car i noticed the passenger turn signal had quit working, so later that day I stopped by Porsche and picked up a bulb and installed. The old bulb looked fine. Well about a week later the turn signal is out again. A couple days later over bumps the headlight starts to flicker. I pulled out the headlight and looked around. Everything seemed normal so I reinstalled. Everything worked fine for about another week then the turn signal is out again. A week later, tonight, the headlight starts flickering over bumps again.

I've tried to do some searching but couldn't come up with much. Is there possibly something going on with the connector on the back of the headlight assembly? When it was out I looked at the pins and everything appeared to be normal. Any advice on what I should do?

Thanks for any help.

I like to use dielectric grease after I clean connections.Yours sounds like a bad connection or short. I'm sure others will chime in with good advice.

You probably bent a pin slightly when your reinstalled the headlight after changing the bulb. Look really closely, it doesn't take much.

Later, Steve

This happened to me, bent pin and my turn signals would stop working when I turn on the fogs. If you pull out the fender liner (easy) you can get to the back if the light when you slide it in. Makes it easier to see if its going in properly.
