Would u rather have Cs or Double Ds?

There's no right or wrong answer, but that should help you decide.

That way, you can try them all over again, from As to Bs to Cs to Ds....

Driven the hell out of both, TT anyday of the week. You will kick yourself repeatedly if you don't get the TT.

I posted on a 996 forum and the general consensus was the same. Get the TT. One person said that an inexperienced driver could not handle the power, another said that he is not even going to read the other replys because the TT is the obvious choice, and few said that they regret not getting the TT and eventually traded up to one. It looks like the scales are being tipped in the TT direction. I'm paying cash for the car so I don't have to worry about making payments BUT the problem is now I gotta budget in 10k+ for mods

I have owned both 996 TTs and 996 NAs. I bought the 996 C2 to try and cut back on the miles I put on the TT. I ended up never driving the C2.

The TT is actually very easy to drive. That is what is so amazing about the car is the amount of permance and how easy it is to drive it hard. Older Porsche Turbos can be a handful, but not the 996TT.

First off, I own a 01 TT and a 02 Cab. I bought both new, I would have bought a TT Cab had I know they were coming out. Personally, I think it comes down to if you are a convertable person or not. I love convertables. I also love the power of the TT, however, I drive the cab a lot more. In traffic, there is little opportunity to go hog wild with the TT, it's just too fast for 99% of my daily driving. It's a great car, but I get frustrated with having that much power and not being able to use it.

I've never had to make the decision between the two cars. If I did, I don't know what I would do, they are both great...

I owned a 2000 Cab and a 2001 TT, both black, at the same time. When I drove the TT I always wanted to put the top down. When I drove the Cab I always wanted more power.

Help arrived only in November 2003 when my 2004 TT Cab arrived and I sold both.

If you a convertible junky buy the cab.

If you are a power junky buy the Turbo.

If you are both buy a TT Cab.

If you don't have the ca$h - don't buy it - lease it.

with your budget and where you live, i say go for the cab. if you had the money, definately the tt cab. so cal has some beautiful weather.

unless you're constantly street racing, living where you live, you'll really enjoy the top down experience and the NA is still plenty fast. you'll just have to accept the fact you can never really get any more power out of modding the NA though. the NA is no slouch, but you'll never get 600HP out of it from mods.

i love having a cab in FL. i'll always own a cab as long as i'm living in a nice weather state. probably won't upgrade till used TT cabs eventually become affordable

You guys thinking about TT cabs with TTs need to drive TT cabs before making your decision. I like my TT cab, but would prefer to have my 03 TT coupe. To me, they are completely different cars.

Instead of $ 140k for a TT cabriolet, I would buy an 02 TT coupe for about $ 80K and use difference to buy either an older 911 cab or maybe even a 348 or 355 spider. I really don't go that fast with the top down, so even a 348 spider would be okay if on a tighter budget.
