Anyone know where I can find a relacment tab for the airbox on a 996TT.

Same problem here...Could not found it as a separate part in the parts catalog....

 

Hmmm...I've got the front side of an air box sitting in my storage unit....let me check and see if the tabs are there. I replaced my air box with the sportec years ago.

I had the same problem. The tabs were not available as separate parts. In the end I changed MAF anyway so didn't need factory airbox.

I grabbed the front part of the air box...everything on this is molded. So it must be part of the rear half. I can't even see them on my air box. Sorry.

Funny.... I started a post exactly for the same thing, same clip even, two weeks ago. I cannot believe that we can't buy this clip separate from an entire airbox.

I will also be glad to pay for shipping if anyone has an extra that they aren't going to use.

Hi,,I am pretty sure I have the front part which I think has the clips?....I run a AP dual snorkel box now..I will look in my storage..

John, I believe it is the rear part as I have the front part and there are no clips....just molded in nuts.

 

I just looked at my AP dual snorkel front which is attached to my stock rear portion and I do not have any clips on this set-up...
I did it about 4 years ago ,so maybe I forgot that I had to take the clips off the rear?...If I did ,I probably have them with the stock front piece..

 

I do have 4 of those plastic L tabs if you still need them..

 

I am in and only need one. Let me know how much and I will send a check right out.
