Meth used in the Mile?

Hey I would like to know if anyone has or knows if any 190+mph Mile guys have used a street Meth kit in addition to their build??
I guess that would be the an good test of its reliability/safety OR foolishness if it malfunctioned under that load?...
Thanks..

That's it for mods? No intercoolers, intake pipes?

Weight loss is "whereitsat", (see how I did that?) I also took 250lbs out of my car. Weight is your enemy if you want to go fast. Study the weight loss thread...learn it, love it...do it. My car with 18g's + injectors and exhaust ran 6.61, with some weight loss it went 6.21..with Meth it ran 5.99. I ALWAYS had traction issues and I'm SURE it would have done better than 5.99 with new drag radials.

^^^

I'd like to break two hundred at TI. But realistically, just being there will be satisfaction enough. Besides, BHT is loaning me 200 horse power that weekend.

Nice. I'm pretty sure you need at least 650-700whp to get over 200..unless you have a nice tailwind. Todd does have power to spare...just no race fuel to go with it...

HI, Thanks
The guy at my local speed shop said a company,,Aquamist maybe?,,has a new Safety feature built in the newer kits?
So you are saying you don't have to have the bottle filled at all and it will have a safe mode ,,activating a straight gas map when empty??

Every Aquamist kit has built in safety's. Float switch in the Meth tank, so if you are low, it shuts boost down to wastegate level, and a flow sensor, that, if it detects no flow, shuts boost down to wastegate level. This is ASSUMED that you have wired unit correctly into ECU, so it has control over N75.
