Question Porshe Short Shift Option CCZ

Anyone have the Porsche Short Shift Option CCZ on their car or upgrade to it ( Porsche Part#000 044 700 26). Can anyone compare it to the existing 3rd party aftermarket options?
Thanks in advance this is a great forum !!!

I am not sure where you are seeing this option, but I saw it in my 04 Turbo Cab order guide, when I asked my dealer, they said the option was not available....

I dont know anything about it, we have the B & M short shifter in the TT and like the feel and the throw is much shorter than stock, it is a nice change.

That is where I got my order guide, those guides are the first guides, and have changed since then...as of yet they are not offering it...

If some one can dig up an part number I can see if I can pull some strings and get one. There has to be a number somewhere.

I called the parts guy I know at my local dealer and 000 044 700 26 is a good part number. In one place it is listed as a short shifter kit, and in another place it is a short shifter bracket. Have no idea if this is what was listed in the preliminary order guide as option CCZ - sport shifter.

Would sure like to see just what it is.

There are 233 units at the parts warehouse in California. Full list is $714.54.

Someone buy one and post of picture of what it is. Jeff

Does this sound like it may be the same concept as the TA or Ruf SS??? A bracket... ??
