clutch issue

Have a GT2 conversion and new clutch / LWFW for a few years. I have had the car for 1.5 years, have not bled the clutch ever (1 DE, 4 Autox and some spritied driving, I never launch hard)

Last week noticed a burning clutch smell at times, normal around town driving.

Yesterday I noticed the feel of the clutch pedal is not as smooth as it used to be.

I checked the fluid level at the reservoir - it is at max level, looks clean, no leaks at the reservoir. I have not looked underneath yet - but if the reservoir level is fine, I'd say no loss of fluid anywhere.

Possible verdict?
I'll bleed the clutch as a first step, what else to look for as I am investigating?
