Need some help with turbo oil line
So I'm swapping my turbos. Everything's going well except the horizontal oil line fittings are mangled. No biggie, new oil lines.
So I pulled the passenger side one, then on to the drivers. Pulled out the bolt but could get the line to come out. It's only held in with stinking o rings!!!
Anyway prying and prodding. Here I am. With the piece now like this.
Suggestions?

I had the same problem. Lots of release oil and patience was the way to get it out for me….I also had problem with the top line on the turbo. Both sides the line fitting was seized… Had to order new ones...
What did you do? Just penetrating oil and wiggling?
I've thought about lowering the motor to have a little more access.
Other than that it went relatively smooth.
Gonna have a set of k24/26 for sale one I get them all cleaned up.

The difference is my engine was on a stand. I took it off to do the coolant pipes welding. It was really frustrating because I had to destroy the pipe. Tried to force it with a tapered chisel under the metal part that is attach with a bolt and it became loose after multiple attempt...
Sorry to hear. I would tap the hole. Get a piece of threaded rod the size you tapped the hole. Cut a piece 4 inches long run a nut on it about 10mm up, thread that into the hole you tapped and snug the nut up. that will keep the rod running in to the pump. Put a 3/8 socket over the rod (make sure the socket is large enough that the broken piece will fit inside it). Put a washer and a nut on the rod. now when you tighten the nut on the rod the piece will be pulled into the socket.
After many attempts...I just pulled the water pump housing.
Dropped it off at the shop today. Everyone cross their fingers, pray, meditate, whatever it is you do, for me. Hopefully he can get it out and then I can be on my way!
