I did it, and I quit once I got there. I didn't like how it came out initially anyways, left the wrap on for about 6-8 weeks. I'm really picky about paint too, so I don't know why I thought it was ever a good idea to be honest haha. It looks good in pictures, but that's about it (to my eyes anyways). You will definitely have to do the trunk/wing panel as two pieces. Also, if you haven't done this before good luck. Message me if you have questions about it.
Couple pics:

^notice I didn't do the trunk. Wasn't worth it to take the turbo emblem off for me because I knew I was going to be peeling it off within weeks.

As long as you know that the details are what it comes down to, I think you're good to go. I enjoy washing cars and keeping them clean, and the wrap was not very good for that. Never looked clean, never looked dirty. Just had to clean the wheels and that was all I did for those few weeks. Really bugged some OCD tendencies I have but was really convenient haha

I started wrapping my car and gave up due to nice weather. I will attempt this project again as soon as we get some snow. It takes time, patients, and lots of heat on demand. Temperature control is key.
On the 997 the front bumper is a pain to do.
Next attempt I will take the front, back bumper and engine lid off.

Here was my cost. I found a bladeless tape that you can use to cut the wrap once on the vehicle. I will be using that. Never use a blade on a car that's worth anything.
