Sachs 2.5 limits
What's the most whp and tq some has drivin the Sachs 2.5. Anyone run gt30s or alpha 30's with e85 for a long time successfully?

I can tell you I ran about 600tq to all for and ran her hard on the track for 2 years. I think they start to give after 850/900 crank.

I have ben beating on my car for awhile,,lots of full throttle power shifting but not as much dumping the clutch off the line and its still holding strong at my power level...
Many dyno pulls also..

just messing with u

2.5 is a great street setup for mild cars BUT it is inadequate for E85 and 30s IMO.

If you put a lot of miles on your car, it won't be long before it's slipping at the 650-700HP level in the cold.

IMO, it's not adequate for high HP cars and does not last long at 650-700HP, if you drive the car a lot. If I were going to 30's, I would invest in a better long term solution.
