I've never dyno'd the car. EBWerks exhaust, no cats or silencers. I always run meth, just as a safety measure and to keep the AFRs low. I don't notice a difference in lag with or without the meth.

I also have done the basic weight loss stuff:

Rear seat removal
Rear wiper and motor removal
No carpets, spare or jack up front
odyssey small battery
Forged 18" wheels
2wd conversion

Dr.Duct_Mossburg is infamous around these parts
The v you race needs to use manual mode for the start then double tap in to sport mode. No way in god's creation should you jump that hard from the start. That car should be making around 600+ torque.

not discrediting your win but I think it would have been a much better race with different methods.

Many drivers just put it in sport mode and gun it... First of all its bad for the tranny and secondly you gotta wait for the car to down shift.

Just asking and sharing here..
How do you know what mode he was in? He could have been in that mode?
That Porsche Turbo has 600+ torque and is about 800+ lbs lighter and has great modifications including the 2 wheel drive modification and would take off like a bullet compared to a lightly modified AWD Porsche Turbo for comparison..

I'm not sure what mode he was in but I'll ask and share your advice. My neighbor is a great driver, better than me. He is a huge car guy as well as a Porsche owner. He has a RWB 993 and has been to Japan twice to race on the RWB team in 24 hour enduro events. Just sayin I wasn't racing some kid who didn't know what he was doing.

Just throwing some thought out there. V's jump like a rocket as well. I have no doubt you will pull that car as you appear to have more power and are in a much lighter car. This race looks more like a 250hp difference though. It's very common on the v boards for people to not understand how to start in manual and switch from touring to sport before the first shift. Who knows.. I could be wrong but I just don't see it being that bad out of the gate if done properly.

Being a kid or adult doesn't really have to do with the ability to drive. Plenty of kids would out drive an adult any day or the week.

Paulie walked me pretty hard before I sorted out my issues. I'd say now it's pretty close to Paullie but his car is strong.

I wanted to run you this past Sunday but I was on baby lock down

I spoke to my neighbor about switching modes before the first ship and he said, "Yes in aware. This is how I've been racing you since day one. I don't tap it back into sport mode, I just tap once into regular auto after I'm in manual mode because my tranny is already tuned in both sport and regular".

I pull just as hard from the jump when I race CTS V's, the only reason the guy popped in here is because his pride is hurt because he owns a cts v. The comment is wrong. If we were running single turbos then yes the cts v would most likely jump, but starting at 4k rpm I'll jump all day with 640wtq and 500lbs less. And I race a guy who has the fastest non built motor, Going 10.4 at 135.

Lol man I don't care at all. You're talking about a higher hp, lighter car that is purpose built for stuff like this vs. A 4 door family sedan on roids. Really not a big deal to me just giving the op my thoughts. Btw.... your buddy doesn't have the fastest stock motor car at a 10.4... that's a common thing in v's. Sorry.

Show me another non built car running a 10.4@135. Its not on the list on the V forum or on drag times. Yea guys will run a 10.6-10.5@133-134.
Granted he is only running "special" setup on his pullies, exhaust and an aggressive E85 tune, not one other bolt on, no cams, headers…etc. He beats full bolt on cars here out in the tri state all the time.

Also I think a supercharged v8 stock isn't your normal "family" sedan and that suspension and brake system, so to tell me that car isn't made to "race" I don't know what is.

Also why else would you come in unless you owned the car on hand and to defend it, lol. Come on now…….
