Is Houston out of the question?
BTW do you want to use a drag strip or a track?
Many tracks in Dallas

The problem is that most TT owners are in the WARM states... so guys like myself, buddyg,etc... have some serious miles to cover.
In order to get everyones attention.. it would be best to have central meeting place... otherwise, it will be another CALI turnout.... how about getting you guys out of ur nest and come out somewhere else for once... that goes for you south Florida guys as well. how about kansas city near IA... that about 11 hours away from Chicago... 18 from cali.... same for florida guys.... not to mention east coast. I think th emidwest would be fair for all... otherwise... its just another socal meet.
just my thought.

Texas Motor Speedway seems like a good place for topspeed runs
What about Road America in Wisconsin. Long front straight with good runoff area for high speed runs, beautiful track, go-kart facility, great steak house, etc. etc.
RA hosts the Sprints for SCCA National guys every year and is attended by most serious SCCA racer's in the country. Fairly centrally located.
I'm in if it involves more than just stright line acceleration, only a stage 3 here.

Try KC guys. We are right in the middle, we have heartland park (where the national SCCA runoffs are) we have KCIR (drag) and we probably can contract with one of the many air force bases around here that are shut down to top speed. We have a 10K building and dyno so that covers all the bases. We are truly smack dab in the middle.
