Shouldn't we see what the numbers say? For instance, if 85% of the participants in the event are located in the Southeast, then the event should probably be held close to that location so the majority of people attending don't have to travel extensively for the event. IMO, it's best to see what the numbers say before jumping to conclusions.

Looks like Dallas is leading the way in the voting. Texas Motor Speedway would be an ideal place to hold this event. It has the large oval with a road course built inside.

When would be a good date to hold this event? June, July, August 2006?

 

I would say either June or July. Most People will be at Monterey in August....

 

June maybe better as I am sure it gets real hot in Dallas in July!

 

We may even have to do this later in the year, because you brought up a valid point, Dallas summer's im sure are blistering hot....

 

We can probably take 1 or 2 cars out with us if there is a need.

I think fall would be the best time to do this event..

Well since this would have to be in the middle of the country, I am just gonna fly to Ryan's house and take whatever dam car I please out of his garage after I slip him a Mickey the night before when we are all out drinking Lou (LSM) you with me ?
