Just got word from GMG (I gave up and brought the car to them). It was the throttle body that failed.

Thanks for all your help on this!

I know. They already ordered the stock part though.

Ok. Got the car back ($2000.00 and a new throttle body later) and the car still has the same symptoms. No changes.

I do however have now have a Durametric cable (thanks to Steve aka 32crazy) and tried my hand at a little data logging. Unfortunately, I am a little ignorant with my new toy and I am not sure what I should be logging for my particular problem. Attached is my first run. Looks like cylinder 4 is misfiring?? Can someone help me read the attached log?

Thanks in advance!!

Danny

I also had a code in the ECU 4340 - Brake light switch. This is odd as I replaced the switch about 3 weeks ago.

Long story. My wife dropped me off to get the car and we drove a mile down the street to get dinner. The didn't even have time to warm up. Once we got on the freeway to head home (I live about 45 min away) the lights came on but it was too late to return the car as they had closed and I did not want to leave it outside over night. I am hoping they resolve the issue tomorrow.

You didnt answer my question.
Why spend $2k on something didn't fix the issue.
You have ignitions issues probably from running waaaaaaayyyyy too much boost.

They told me the car was fixed. I had no reason to question them.

Can you elaborate on ignition issues? Pretend you are speaking to a 3rd grader haha.

I am only running 1 bar and stock turbos.

Oh ok.
Are u the one running crazy 1.5 bar boost?
Sorry don't remember. But the stutter is ur ignition.
Plugs and or coils. Or if u had injectors installed you may have one or two leaking. Etc.
