For me, it was the throttle body and the brake pedal position sensor.

How many miles are on the car?

Have you tried unplugging the MAF to see if that eliminates the issue?

This is the first thing I'm gonna have done, but as i've never worked on cars before, I am worried about doing it and screwing something up, so gonna take to shop and have them do it, drive and see if that eliminates issue.

Unplugging the MAF takes about 10 seconds and is easier then putting gas in your car.

It's super easy, I am sure there is a how to on the forum. I am only 20 min further south than GMG. I would be happy to show you.
