Offset help

Hi Guys,

Looking to get some new wheels and need some offset help. I am currently looking at 19x9 and 19x12 wheels but haven't settled on which offsets to get that will fit the tires sizes I want to run.

For reference I am lowered on H&R springs and looking (hoping) to run 245/35/19 and 305/30/19 Michelin Super Sport (or equivalent) tires on Forgestar CF10 wheels.

From my reading and research it seems like a 19x9 +47 would work for the front and a 19x12 +45 for the rear. Does anyone have any experience with these sizes and offsets? I don't necessarily mind if I have to roll any of my fenders or use spacers but I would prefer to not HAVE to do either if possible.

Also, I chose these wheel widths and tires sizes for an aggressive look. If these sizes are not possible I will look into other options, but I am not really all that interested in staying with either of the factory tire or wheel widths. Also, I am all for a more aggressive offset if it will definitely fit.

Thanks in advance and also I appreciate the responses I have received via PM so far.

-J

were it not for the fact you're getting f'star cf10's, i'd *try* advise you against the 19's. but since the cf10 is a *****in wheel and only in 19's? lol. i'd go with a 40 offset all around. lowered with the h&r's and the 9x12's you'll be **** without spacers. flat and low. xlnt choice btw

Thanks! Yeah, I am not a huge fan of the size of the 18's on the Porsche; especially with wheels that have stepped lips. They are too small for the vehicle IMO.

In terms of the offset, do you think that would fit without too much rubbing? That offset you mentioned does sound pretty aggressive in the looks department.

According to my math (found here: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp) the offset you mentioned would put me at 20mm closer to the fender. I wonder if I would have to roll the fenders or run an aggressive camber to fit them.

I really appreciate your input BTW.

i'm by no means expert.. but what i can tell you is, that running 9x12x18's ( forgestar f14's with 40 offset all around ) on this car lowered to gt2 or .5 below is a perfect stance for this car. there is NO improvement to be had lol

BUT. i would *MAYBE* consider going back to a 19 for the cf10. i think you would not need to roll fenders though 19's were problematic for me and my last tt without rolled fenders. though they only rubbed at hard lock in front.

Stock front: 8 x18
offset: 50
Stock rear: 11x18
offset: 45

I have done

Front: 10x18
offset: 45
rear: 12x18
offset 42

If I you want 9"s up front with perfect flush
front:
9x19
offset of 30

If you want perfect flush on rear using 12:
offset of 32

Been there - done that. -3.2 neg camber up front and -2.5 camber rear.

If I could do it again. I keep front size, and I would do 11.5 rear.

You can thank me later.

Pictures from the settings I have done. You can see rear at 45 offset with 12" how its to far in. I could still put a 14mm spacer and it was flush.

Thanks for the input! Are the pictures 18's or 19's?

My only concern with this setup is that it will be taller than the 235/35 since I want to use 245/35 for the closer front/rear ratio. Also, did you have any rubbing issues with this setup up front?

As for the rear, would you recommend going with more offset to push them out a bit more, or would that cause rubbing as well?

Thanks,
