"Tank Slapper" Help Needed
My understanding is that the adjustable versions allow you to adjust caster. I think price is about the same for solid vs adjustable. Hopefully pwdrhound will chime in as to a recommendation. I'm guessing non-adjustable should be fine for street unless your caster is off for some reason.
The adjustable bushings are not necessary if you are using them in the rear. I like them regardless as they allow you to fine tune the centering of the wheel within the wheel well when running max size wheels and tires. For all intensive purposes however, the non-adjustable solid bushings are all that is necessary in the rear. Hope that helps...

The adjustable bushing allow you to "clock" them and thus adjust caster. The adjustables are needed when using shimmable LCAs so that you can fine tune caster as you add shims. As you add shims in the front thus lengthening the LCA, your caster increases as the thrust arm is a fixed length (the wheel is pulled forward as you add shims). The adjustable bushing allow you to bring caster back in range.

Much appreciated. If there really isnt a difference in price, might as well get the adjustable if I am going to go with a larger sidewall tire. Every mm counts. Its a good thing Im not married or Id be sleeping on the couch permanently for what I spend on this car...
305/30/19s are easy. 12x9 et45 bolts right on with plenty of clearance. 12x9 et40 will need the fenders rolled. With soft springs you can't go crazy low due to it's large diameter or you'll rub at the top of the fender well on large dips. No a huge biggie..
Just reporting back. Had RSS engine mounts and the Tarett LCA Monoball Bearing installed this week. Completely eliminated the Tank Slapper movement/issue. Rear of the car feels rock solid.
Some more NVH but nothing crazy and i'm just happy the car is back to handling properly.
Obviously the car was re-aligned as well after install so I can't definitively state if it was alignment, engine mounts, or the monoball's but one of the 3 cured it.

Sure thing, but a warning that my threshold for NVH is pretty high due to it being a pure pleasure vehicle for me. All the rawness just adds to the experience for me. However, I'll still be able to be honest about how much it increases.
