I do. Often. And I like it... if it's an uphill sweeping turn, I feel like I can feel the gyroscopic effect of the front wheels through the steering wheel under those conditions. I have one on the way to work that is perfect for this. I do it every chance I get!

I used to ride sportbikes and the sensation reminds me of twisting those throttles. Dynamically it's the same thing.

You can still rip it with the front end light under acceleration, just be aware of the road ahead.

Coming from a front engine car, I never liked this feeling. I've had the car looked over, and everything checks out. So I guess this is normal?

I bought my car almost 5 years ago as a 12,500 mile "virgin", 100% oem, garage queen. It has done it from day one of my experience.

JSBear,

I believe your issue is simply the rear engine weight bias (mine does the same), but not the "tank slapper". These are completely different issues. Stiffer rear springs may help. I have PSS10's and my car still does it.

Stebo,

The issue isn't when is happens in a straight line, it's when it happens hitting a bump/rise while going through a turn. My car is making approximately 700hp and it can make things very exciting.

Again, this is a completely different issue than the "tank slapper".

Later, Steve
