Has anyone looked into these? Would these melt our headlamps?

DON'T do it. The light will be dimmer than the 4100K you already have from the factory. The 6000K is just the color temp. and it will be bluer light, that is all you get for the extra money. The only reason they were made is for Japan, and all of the rice rockets.

A second that...Don't do it!!! I bought this kit for my X5 and it looks really blue...almost like buying blue bulbs that look like HID.

It's funny because everyone wants the HID color temp and then those with HID go out and change it to the 6000k series or the fake looking HID...
