Hey guys,

I made a thread a few weeks ago asking for opinions on high mileage 996TTs and thanks for all the responses. That vehicle sold and I ended up purchasing a car with much lower mileage about a week ago. The car is actually a Rennlist forum member's old car but I didn't purchase it directly from them. The vehicle used to belong to member "gnoub51" I believe. He had it listed in the classifieds there. A dealer, "Law Auto Group" purchased the car from him and I from them.

The car is a 2004 in Speed Yellow with a few tasteful mods and is in excellent condition. I did a PPI on the car through Willow Auto in Chicago (highly recommended). Loving the car so far and it really is a rocketship.

Plans for the car right now include a 30k service (oil, trans fluid, diff fluid, coolant flush, brake fluid flush, and spark plugs) and a Dension 500sBT install. The car has a B&M SSK that is quite notchy and requires a lot of effort to shift from 1-2. Thinking about swapping in a OEM 997 shift kit or a OEM 997 SSK. The car also has a Fabspeed exhaust that drones quite a bit that I am also thinking about swapping out for a drone free exhaust.

Very nice pickup! The car looks great and you have the best color

Let me know if your interested in a Europipe Stage 2 Quiet. One of the highest rated exhaust systems for our cars and I have up for sale at a steal in the classifieds section.

Grab some painted rear bumperettes too from Eric.Let me know when you'll be around the Detroit area in the summer. There are some meets in the area that are fun including Woodward dream cruise in August.
