Low Boost Reading!!!

I have a 996TT Tip, my boost reading has always been 0.5 and never above, I never thought anything about it as I have never had the ECU flashed and most Turbo's read between 0.5 & 0.7 anyway.
I have now had Neil at Orton to flash the ECU and it is still not exceeding 0.5, Neil has said it should hit between 1.0 & 1.2 (also have a fabspeed system installed) There is an increase in power but that's me just feeling the boost coming on early, which the PSI flash does, but it will not exceed 0.5 (unless my digital reading is showing nonsense!!!)

Has anyone any ideas, Neil asked me to check all conection hose links around Intercoolers which I have done, I have taken a quick look around where the DV's are located (difficult to see anything)

Could it be the standard DV's? Is there anything else it could possibly be?

I'm pissed that I can't enjoy my new flash!

You are probably leaking boost somewhere. Check the F hose and replace the DV's. Too cheap not to do anyway. You will need them when boost gets back anyway. Beleve me you will notice a huge difference when car is actually hitting .9 to 1.1 bar. Good luck.

I've similar problem before. Broken DV will have same 0.7 bar boost from stock but weir noise at 0.1 bar from engine and it feel slow. Then loose hose after EVO stage 2 flash. Max boost = 0.5 bar (even slower then stock). Check all the hose connections (mine was the intercooler connections). It wil be fix!

Thanks guys for getting back to me, I have ordered new DV's anyway! Forgemotorsport are huge in the UK and I have ordered from them before when I had my RS4. Don't know if your DV's are like this but take a look they have a rotating head because of the tight fit, they look awesome http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/con...duct=FMCL007PA

Anyway! lets hope it's them, can't wait to feel the boost!!!

Replaced DV's and still getting 0.5 although it hit 0.6 once!

I have now checked all intercooler connections, given the F-pipe a good inspection, The DV's have been replaced!

What do I look for next?

Someone has mentioned "WASTEGATE"

Is there anyway of checking this?

Thanks
