Terminator, Did you have any luck with your complaint to bilstein? If so, do the replaced links seem to be more robust? If not, what did you end up replacing with? I've run into the same issue and I'd like to avoid the units made for the track (Tarret etc.) since I understand they can be noisy on the street.

I use TRG's on the front and Tarret's on the rears. No noise issues for 3+ years.

100 plus track hours with Tarett front extended drop links and Tarett rear drop links. Zero noise or any other issues. Make sure you run the rubber end boots on them to seal out dirt and moisture. The byproduct is the fact the boots will dampen any noise if present.

I think I'm still gonna go with aftermarket links since it seems people have reported the "upgraded" Bilstein links still fail. I'm in between going with Powergrid or Tarret. I like that the powergrids use ball joints and are half the price of the Tarrets.

When you adjust the drop links, make sure all four wheels are on the ground. You do not want to preload the sway bars.

Will do. Is it possible to reach the links and adjust them when the car is on the ground or does it need to be on a ramps or lift to reach them? I'll be installing them on Sunday and would be good to know beforehand.

I jack up the car and put the wheels raised up on blocks. Way too tight for me to work under the car otherwise.

If you really want do it right. Have someone of equal weight sit in the driver's seat while making the adjustments.
