What to look out for

Recently sold my 993 and purchased a 2005 Turbo with 28,000 miles and looking to find out what I need to be on the look out for. Found out about the issue with the spoiler hydraulic problem and now looking to find out if I need to perform any preventive maintenance before a problem hits.

Coils will also need to be replaced every so often but they're not that expensive and can be replaced yourself by using a DIY spark plug change thread. You'll need to do the plugs soon since you're approaching 30k (if it hasn't been done already). You'll usually get a misfire code due to a failed plug or coil so it's up to you if you want to wait until it happens.

I also vote for coils and sparks, spoiler, clutch, replacing coils and sparks check if you have any oil inside the intercooler pipes also take the air box off and inspect air filter, front axle boots, check oil level turbo cars love to drink oil

When my car was stock, I was using about a quart every 2-3 weeks. However, I think it depends on how hard you drive. I'd be concidered a hard driver.

Radiators! I took delivery of my 05tt from a local Porsche dealership last Friday, and it passed their PPI. After only 100 miles, the left radiator started leaking from the top tank. Id remove both fender liners (very simple) and inspect the radiators and hoses. Luckily, my local Porsche dealership is replacing the radiator free of charge.
