And my wallet loves it.. Shops can get charging a pretty penny for all the hours I put in doing the mods. If you have the confidence to mess with the delicate stuff (Especially the ECU harness) it pays off.
Once I do some DE's where I can slide around, then maybe I'll look into it.
The gt28 is a vert fast spooling turbo, yes. I'm happy with the performance, but my end goal was to break 700 crank!
Flat out from 2krpm in 5th I get max boost at 2700rpm. Thats quick.
I totally agree that rhe 60-130, track times, and how the car drives are the most important. However the numbers are loads of fun!!

I tooked a look at your build... you seem to have k16s on the car... with gt28 cartridge and compressor... if thats the case then your 550 plus whp car is on the money.... IM guessing your on 91 oct with 100 % meth...
your out of turbo.... those will never make 630 whp... unless you have k24 housings then thats a possibility..

I tooked a look at your build... you seem to have k16s on the car... with gt28 cartridge and compressor... if thats the case then your 550 plus whp car is on the money.... IM guessing your on 91 oct with 100 % meth...

However, my turbo inlets are stock, and my exhaust still has cats.. There has to be potential for 30-50 more hp with some more supporting mods...
i'd say power is on the low side for pump and meth at 1.4 bar

This is at 1.3 bar for now.. I havent made 1.4 yet, even though the ecu is requesting 1.5 at WOT... I'm thinking some sort of restriction is holding her back. Thats why I'm going to toss the cats.
I'm not sure, but I think if any side is k16, its the hotside. The k24 hotside on my old turbos were much bigger. Bigger to the point where it actually made my exhaust significantly quieter when I put these turbos on.
Craig says he'll sell me his inlet piping once he figures out how to do filters from the turbos... Its confusing in a wet climate. Since these are our daily drivers we can't just throw a filter on there.

I would say from experience that it's a combination of the cats and inlets. I predict 20-30+ more wheel after that and that will put you where you want to be especially because we tuned on the conservative side...Not depending on meth. the car will feel much better too!
